Our schools are on a mission to ensure every scholar is prepared to succeed in the college and the career of their choice. Coney Island Prep scholars benefit from highly skilled teachers and leaders who are deeply committed to seeing and teaching the whole child. Our community is characterized by rigorous academic programming, including a longer school day and year, and a warm and joyful culture.
College preparation starts here.
Coney Island Prep Lower Elementary School blends joy, rigor, and high expectations to ensure our scholars in Kindergarten through second grade are ready to succeed. With two teachers in every classroom, smaller teacher to student ratios help accelerate learning and allow for tailored instruction for each scholar.

At Coney Island Prep Upper Elementary School, we focus on developing the full range of critical thinking skills through a rigorous Common Core aligned curriculum, while increasing exposure to electives in the performing arts. Our scholars transition from learning to read, to reading to learn, tackle new skills through our PRIDE Advisory curriculum, and fall deeper in love with learning and developing a growth mindset.

Scholars are prepared for college and careers through rigorous academics, extraordinarily high expectations, and annual college trips. After-school activities include anime, dance, STEM, and photography. Our athletics program includes football, basketball, track, and volleyball.

Located in a beautifully renovated school building on Avenue T, Coney Island Prep High School serves scholars in grades 9-12. Our academic, athletic, and cultural clubs foster strong character, self-advocacy, and a responsibility to become lifelong learners. Last year, we had 100% of our graduates accepted into colleges and universities.
